Testimonials

“Without a shadow of a doubt, joining this group has been the most valuable development experience I have ever been involved in. It has had an impact on me now, and will continue to well into the future.”

“I’ve been a strategist all my career and used multiple frameworks for future mapping. New Constellations takes the process to the next level, getting to the core of values, motivation and alignment; something that is critical to building motivating goals and a deeply purpose driven and high performing team.”

“It’s not an exaggeration to say you’ve completely changed my life for the better and enabled and empowered me to do things I only thought I’d be able to dream of.”

“New Constellations isn’t just a project; it’s a diverse, open-hearted community where every voice is valued. The opportunity to share stories, ideas, and dreams with people from all walks of life was a powerful reminder of our common humanity. I felt seen and heard, which was both humbling and empowering.”

“Ideas aren’t the issue, we have loads of them. The issue is that people need to be empowered to believe they can make a change – this process did that.”

“I got back and took a cohort of young black men to Copenhagen to learn about doughnut economics and hood futurism. We began creating co-ops as a form of learning, honouring our own indigenous practise and learning. We grew and rapidly created two hubs, and a women’s co-op. We also created a systemic litigation lab, a research lab, and engaged with the group that lead on radical help. We learned so much that we applied within our work. I was the student but my job was to get the learning back to my community.”

“We are at the wrong level of operating systematically. We are doing a lot of tourniquet work, it is important, we are excellent at stopping the bleeding, but we need a full investigation of what makes the heart sing and why are we bleeding so much? The Constellations journey met me at a moment when I was trying to create this in myself, and was ripe to be having a conversation at a higher level than the ones I was having in work and in politics.”

Participant, Wayfinding Journey

“I’ve never been in a space with such honest conversations, there’s something so precious about that. We must have been in a space of trust to do that, I’ve never been anywhere people have talked like that.”

“New Constellations has shifted profoundly how I work. I no longer see work through a corporate lens, I see it through deep relationships, creating beautiful things, making people feel special, taking time and resource to do things well. I’m trying to bring that into everything.”

“The retreat gave me time and space to identify my key guiding stars and piece them together. The beauty of this process is that I didn’t just create something new to feel good – the constellation was formed with stars that had always been around myself.”

Participant, Yale Journey

“It was a mixture of important and difficult in the best way. Prior to this experience I was scared of being vulnerable, talking about my feelings, even being in the same room. Obviously a lot of trauma comes with our histories and past. It’s made it easier to talk about things like that with people I’ve known for a long time, and be comfortable. If I want deep connections I need to build deep.”

“The time I spent with the crew yesterday was the most moving, inspirational and uplifting experience of my working life. What you have built in a week is phenomenal. You have given Barrow her voice. You have given her hope. I will fight for the space for her to speak and dream.”
